My kids wished there were extra activities on-site for teens, like a game room. That would really enhance the family experience!

Had an awesome group getaway with friends! We hiked some amazing trails and even hit up Six Flags for a day of fun. The place was super comfy, and I loved having a kitchenette to make snacks. Plus, the gym was great for staying active. Definitely a spot I'd recommend!
The breakfast left a bit to be desired. After a long night, it was disappointing to see the powdered eggs instead of real ones. A better breakfast would really elevate the stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Residence Inn Chicago Deerfield! The two-bedroom suite was spacious and perfect for our family. The kitchen was a lifesaver for making snacks for the kids, and the oversized bath towels were a nice touch. The complimentary shuttle made getting around easy, especially with little ones in tow.
The breakfast options were a bit limited.

Spacious Rooms and Excellent Breakfast Variety
I stayed in a King Studio Sofa Bed, which felt like having my own little apartment with a full kitchen and plenty of space to relax. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a great mix of hot options like eggs and bacon along with fresh fruit. Plus, having access to an outdoor heated pool was perfect for family fun even in cooler weather. However, the breakfast area got quite crowded, making it tough to find a seat at times.

The stay was convenient for visiting the nearby attractions, which made the location quite appealing. I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen in the room, making it easy to prepare meals. The staff was very accommodating, and the pool was a great way to relax after a long day out. However, there were some issues with the noise coming from the bathroom, which was somewhat distracting during my stay.

missingWrote a review on Mar 14poor lighting
A lack of an elevator meant dragging heavy suitcases up outdoor stairs was a challenge. The room's lighting was inadequate, with no overhead fixtures, leaving it consistently dim and awkward for basic tasks like shaving. The breakfast timing felt rushed with a 9:00 AM cutoff, making it hard to enjoy a leisurely meal, especially since popular items like oatmeal ran out before the end. Additionally, the second bedroom in the loft-style suite was disappointingly small, with a bed size closer to full than queen. There were some unpleasant odors lingering in areas like the upstairs bathroom, which took multiple attempts to remedy. The maintenance issues escalated with flooding from the toilet and low toilet height causing discomfort.

Great for families looking to relax
I stayed 2 nights in a King Studio with a sofa bed, and it was surprisingly spacious. The full kitchen was a game changer, made my own breakfast instead of dealing with crowded restaurant. The staff was super friendly, like Lou at check-in.
It wasn't inexpensive but considering the experience, it felt reasonable.
